Brentwood at Niles, a Priority Life Care community, will celebrate the First Annual Validation Week, August 17–23.

The observance is held in partnership with the Validation Training Institute and recognizes the importance of connection and person-centered dementia care.

The theme “Meet Me Where I Am” reminds caregivers and families that meaningful relationships begin by listening, understanding, and validating each person’s feelings and experiences.

Brentwood at Niles will host activities throughout the week that celebrate residents’ life stories and share the benefits of Validation with families and community members.

Validation is part of Priority Life Care’s Along the Journey dementia care philosophy, helping caregivers create moments of trust, comfort, and connection.
